IMA is a non-profit Christian organization seeking to provide medical assistance and compassion to the people of other countries. Each project gives those with an interest in helping others an opportunity to serve. While most of our work is medical and dental assistance, there is a need for people from all walks of life. General helpers are essential to each project.

The suggested donation for this project is $800.00 for two weeks and $600.00 for one week. This covers your food and housing for the duration of the project, and is a tax-deductible contribution to the mission. It also covers transportation from the airport to the project location and back to the airport at the end of the project.

Your travel arrangements should be made after you receive our letter telling you that you have been accepted to the Project. You must let us know your flight schedule as soon as you have it so we can make arrangements for your arrival and departure. Please try to arrange your incoming and outgoing flights to be on the afternoon or early evening of Saturday.

Our goal is to provide spiritual, medical and dental help to the poor who would otherwise have little affordable access to medical care. As we are guests in the country that hosts the project, we firmly believe that we have a responsibility to act with utmost courtesy and respect. Each participant is a representative of IMA and must agree to follow these rules of conduct:

• Each participant is to behave in a responsible and respectful manner.
• Children (minors) must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for their conduct and behavior during the project.
• Participants are expected to abstain from using alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs, and from visiting bars and discos.
• Dress is to be modest and appropriate to the culture of the host country.

Our object is not to be restrictive but for each participant to have a rich experience of serving. However, we must keep in mind that we represent Jesus Christ and we are guests seeking to be of service to needy people.
